Eve has really enjoyed the freedom of being able to get herself dressed and undressed. She worked hard on doing her shirt and refuses any help. The other day she came out with both her pants and shirt backwards. I told her she needed to turn around her clothes and after giving it a few seconds of thought, she declared it Backwards Day. How could I not let her have a special backwards day, except I did tell her it wouldn't work with her shoes. She seemed so happy to tell everyone why she was dressed so differently and since then she also had a sock missmatch day too.

New Blog
Please check out my new blog, Our Acres of Blessings. It is not made to replace this one, as this one will remain a private, family blog. The new one is to help show our life as farmers in rural america and some of our concerns and joys. I haven't put any links yet on my new blog, but if you have a blog you wouldn't mind listed on it (it will be public and searchable) just leave a comment and I will work on that. Its still a work in progress, but I am excited on where it is going.

Bumbo Fun
So Daphne has gotten really strong holding up her neck, so we thought it was time to try out the bumbo. Plus it would be another way for her to sit because she can't be laid down for almost an hour after eating or she will spit-up, unless she is sleeping. And Eve gave her her two friends Flip and Sadie to help keep Daphne company in the bumbo. With the boppy as a little extra neck support, she liked sitting in there.
Eve helped capture all the action with her camera as well. She is hoping for one that really works for her birthday.
Well the fun couldn't last forever.

Egg Hunts
Eve has been such a lucky girl when it comes to Easter Egg Hunts this year. She has hunted for eggs five times already, not including the hundreds of time we have hidden them and found them around the house. On Wed, we took her down to the county courthouse for the community egg hunt and yesturday we took her to the long term care to hunt eggs in front of the older people, including her great aunt Viola. She had a great time at both hunts, but love the ltc one better because there was a lot less kids and people and she got lots of eggs.
Here is how Daphne spent the egg hunts.
Every girl needs a malted milk-ball lipstick.
