Happy Birthday Dad

Today is my wonderful Dad, Mario's birthday. It is so hard to be far away for times like these, especially since we got to celebrate this with him last year. We were blessed with his visit last month and can't wait till we get to see him again. Here is a special picture me and Eve took fo him. Happy birthday Dad, we love you lots!

Visit from Friends

On Tuesday, we had the pleasure of having the Beardsleys stay with us. Laurie is one of my closest friends and it is always great to see her and her husband, Matt. They stopped here on their way to San Francisco where they are moving so Matt go pursue photography school. Matt's sister Jessie and their cat Mocha were also along for the ride. It is so exciting because they are expecting a little boy in Sept and its so great to be going through exciting new stages of life with friends. I know that Eve and their baby will be good friends just like their parents. I can't wait to meet him. Here are some pics of our time together.

Some Pictures

Here are some pictures of Eve from the past very busy week. After the last pictures, my brother Gregg wondered if I took care of her hair. First off, it is curly hen wet and wavy dry and secondly, she has bed head most of the day and I don't have the time to comb it every time she gets up. Here is a picture after she was up and ready for the day before she messes it up. I like the different faces she makes.

Happy Girl

Here are some pictures I wanted to share that I took of Eve yesturday. She had just woke up and fed and I layed her down to get some quick stuff done. I came back to find her having a great time kicking around. It is great to see her smiling and laughing and starting to show her personality. In her awake time, between feedings, she just has a great time.

One Month Old

Yesurday, Eve turned one month old. It is hard to imagine how fast the time has gone. I guess time flies when sleep deprieved. It is amazing how much she has changed already. She now weighs around 8 lbs and is about 1/2 an inch longer. In the past week she has started to make all kinds of noises and is able to amuse herself. She likes to spend a little time of her blanket doing her little punches and kicks, well only about 20 minutes until she wants to be held. She continues to be such a blessings to us both.

Thank You Mom

This past month, We have been so blessed in many ways. One major one was having my mother here with us since June 6th until today. I can not tell you all how grateful I was to have her here and can not imagine going through everything without her. There is no better gift I could have gotten for Eve than her presence which was good for us both. I could not have had a better person to teach me to be a mother than my mother who has done so much for me and my siblings through the years. Here are some pictures of Eve and her Grammy. Baby Dedication

This past Sunday, Eve had her baby dedication at our church. We did it this early because both of my parents were here and it was nice to have them here for this. The pastor held her in front of the congregation and she showed everyone her lung strength. After the service, we had mine and his family over here for a picnic. It was a nice time and we were grateful to show everyone how dedicated we are to raise our little girl up in the way of the Lord. Here are some pictures from the event.
