Out to the farm

On Gregg and Tiffs last day here, we gave them a tour around Ness City and the farm. We had a good time doing every thing with them and wish they could have stayed longer. They were able to hear Eve giggling more and more especially at them. I can tell she really loved having them around, as we do too. Here's some more pictures.

Uncle Gregg and Aunt Tiff

Eve is very lucky to get a visit from her uncle Gregg and future Aunt Tiff. They were supposed to get here on Thur around noon, but with delays and so stuff got here about 2:30 am. Well that was only to Wichita so we ended up piling into a cheap hotel room for that night. We have been hanging out and having a great time.

Today we took Eve to Hays to go swimming for the first time. She looked very cute in her swimsuit, but was very nervous about the water. After a while she settled in and thought it as probably ok. Here are some pictures of our day.
Here is a picture on her sticking out her tongue.

Who does Eve look like?

We found this through some of our friends blogs and wanted to see the results. I wonder if in a month it will be different. Now I want to go back and do me and my parents. Please feel free to tell us your opinion.

2nd month stats

Yesturday we took Eve to the doctor for her 2 months appointment. When they weighed and measured her we got quite a suprise. At her 2 week she was 7lb9oz and 21 in long. Now she is 10lb8oz and grew to 24 in. That puts her in the 50 percentile for weight and in the 97 percentile for her height. She assumed we must come from tall families, which is not really true, but we are excited for Eve. She did so good with her shots that the nurses gave her two at a time.
I wish I could capture on camera Eve's new trick. A couple of days ago, I started curling my toungue and sticking it out at her and she would just smile and laugh. Well after a day or two of trying, she today stuck her tongue back out at me, not very far but still. I can't wait to show my brother Gregg and Tiffany when they comes to visit next week. He is also bringing her a swimsuit to take her swimming in, so those should be some good pictures too.

2 months old

Miss Eve Elaine is now 2 months old, and it seems hard to believe. She keeps getting bigger and bigger and I can't wait until I take her in on Thur to see how much she has grew. She has recently become our little talker, that Tyler says is not so surprising since she spends all her days with me. She will look right at you and we can have a conversation with her for 15 minutes. Its so fun to see her trying to communicate with us. She seems to try to get our attention through her talking before she crys. Eve is so full of smiles and I love to see more of her personality. Here is a picture I took of her in her new sunglasses. Yes they are way to big but that makes them cute. Enjoy.

Baby Food and Bumbos

Recently, I was online and heard about an amazing deal on baby food. I went to a site called afullcup.com to the target coupon generator. There is a coupon for by two gerber baby food items and save one dollar. I printed off 50 coupons and went to the store which is an hour and a half away. I bought about 100 things of baby food. Some of the stage food jars are 52 cents so with the coupon they were only 2 cents. I also bought stage 1 foods for 32 cents and some other stage 2 for 48 cents. I ended up buying 85 dollars worth of food for under 35. She is stocked up for now and if you have a baby or know someone you may want to pass along the deal. It only lasts until the 15th.
We also recently bought Eve a bumbo seat off ebay. They seem to be the hotest item for baby and the one on ebay was a really good deal. It is supposed to be good for their trunk and help them learn to sit up sooner. It says for three month and up, but we used her boppy to help give her some support. Here is some of her bumbo experience.
