On Friday we took Eve to the local hospital to be reevaluated for her Jaudice. The doctor thought it would go down and really be no issue, but her numbers shot up, so she needed to spend almost all her time with the belly-rubin blanket to help it go down. She had to go in and get her heel pricked everyday until Monday when it finally went down enough to go off the blanket. We are glad she has healed and no longer have to go in.
On Sunday, she go
t to experience her first Father's day. Her dad had the priviledge of getting up and taking her to the hospital bright and early for the test before church. Then we went to church and Tyler held her the whole time and looked very proud. He won the newest father award and a package of diapers. After church we had some of his family over for lunch and then they got to bring us over a refridgerator from his grandparents rental after our died that night. Tyler got to spend the whole day at home with us which was great because now it is harvest and we barely see him.
On Monday me and Mom and Aunt Natalie had to take Eve to her first doctor's appointment. We
were so happy to learn that she had not lost weight since she left the hospital but actually gained about 7 onces. She let the doctor pock and test her and did not cry at all. We then took her all around town as we had to run errands. She slept through almost all the trips and the longness of the day took more of a toll on me than her.
Yesturday we gave her her first bath. It was
supposed to be a sponge bath since her cord had not fallen off yet. She was ok sitting in the tub before the water started to make her cold and wet. As most babies she pretty much just screamed the whole time. As I was trying to warm her up afterwards she did the honor of peeing all over me and the towel. Good thing she is so adoreable because who could be mad at that face, especially like the one at the top.

That's what we did her first week home without the details of the feeding, sleeping, and pooping which happens all the time. Tyler did begin to cut our wheat on Sunday and will be busy doing that for the next week or so. I am blessed to have my mom here to help me out and be here when Tyler can not be here to help at all. Its nice to have some one throughout the day to keep me company and sane.

That face. I can't wait to see that face!!! You could win money for that shot!
Becky, she is just amazingly gorgeous! We know you must be sooo proud! Kathryn (our daugther) had to do the billiruben blanket thing too...glad that part is over for you! Keep resting in these next several weeks, and enjoying your baby girl, as it seems you are doing.
Congratulations, Becky, she's beautiful! All that black hair. . . I'm so jealous. Evelyn (our 2 year old) was 6 months before she even started growing hair. :)
